Johns Manville (JM), producer of polyester spunbond and glass fiber nonwovens, will increase prices for polyester spunbond construction products by up to 5% in various markets and regions. The price increase is effective July 1, 2015.

“The current inflationary trends, especially for polymers, are forcing us to correct our pricing position,” says Martin Kleinebrecht, marketing & portfolio management leader, Nonwovens. “The market demand is expected to remain strong throughout the summer. We have taken steps to increase product availability by using our global assets to optimize regional supplies.”
